WILD WATER GROUP GET BEHIND RHIGOS RFC

Wild Water Group, South Wales' largest temperature controlled storage and distribution company, will support Aberdare regional club rugby side Rhigos RFC with First team kit sponsorship for the 2018/19 season.

Rhigos RFC competes in the WRU National Division 3 B West Central and their first game against Baglan RFC kicks off at 2.30 on 1st September.

Rhigos RFC are one of six sides being supported by the Group which include Cardiff Blues A, Principality Premiership clubs Merthyr RFC and Bargoed RFC, WRU Championship university side Cardiff Met RFC and another Division 3 side Hirwaun RFC.

Managing director Ken Rattenbury says "It's always rewarding to be able to give back something to a sport you love, especially having been involved in it as a player and administrator over the years. It's not just about the club - it's the involvement you see in families in the community and the enjoyment they get from being part of the local set up. I wish Rhigos RFC the best of luck for the coming season".

Wild Water Group will look to grow this number over the next couple of years and will potentially look at club Youth Team sponsorship for the new season.

"With a bit of luck" says Ken "this is where the next Sam Warburton or George North will be found - it's all about grass roots rugby - youngsters aspiring to be first team players one day and hopefully moving on to higher honours from there".
