The autobiography of Dai Morris( Wales,Neath,Rhigos and Clynneath) will be published next October.
I am very grateful to the Rhigos Rugby Club and its officers for a great deal of information and support. But if you have a story about Dai that I might not have heard – and is fit to print – please get in touch.
For instance, When was Dai’s last appearance in a Veterans game at Rhigos or elsewhere?
In June 2010, some of your more social members travelled to Prague for a cheeky little rugby weekend. Jodie and I happened to be stood pitchside at Tatra Smichov RFC as part of our process to explore rugby around the world.
One of your players stole Jodie’s bicycle before cycling butt naked around the pitch on it. Somehow the infamous Rhigos RFC, home to David ‘Dai’ Morris has therefore found a way into the greatest rugby-cycling book ever written – ‘A journey to leave you with … Odd Shaped Balls!’
If anyone wishes to lay there hands on a copy, they may do so by visiting ww.JodieandTom.com
If you want to combine orders, we can send a box to the club. As an incentive, if you guys can spread the word around town + friends and family and place an order for 100 copies (they are only GBP 8.99 each plus £1.50 p&p) we will post your club a free RWC jersey signed by Sam Warbuton, Shane Williams, James Hook, Mike Phillips plus others…
Be nice to hear back from you, we also have a heap of photos from the day.
Massive congratulations on the Grand Slam. You represent the best chance of retaining the RWC for the Northern Hemisphere in 2015.
Apologies for the delay in coming back to you. It was one hell of a trip, and we hope our over adventurous player did not offend with his impromptu tour de Prague
We would love to see some of your photo’s and would be a welcome addition to the new site (to be launched shortly).
We are orginising a Cage Rugby and 10′s Tournament August 11th & 12th in support of the Welsh Guards. This year we are holding it in Heol-y-Cyw RFC it will be for senior men, Youth and under 17′s.
If you would like further information please feel free to e-mail me or phone 0845 608 3606
Thank you for your time
